The shortage of skills in SA has become a core issue in discussions on economic growth, service delivery, social development and productivity. Most businesses are still training for the sake of training and this has an adverse effect on the overall goal of skills development.

MDCS Skills Academy is an accredited Services Seta Training Provider – accreditation number 13434, and offers various Skills Development Solutions as per the BBBEE scorecard as well as corporate training initiatives.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES

Learnerships are the most cost-effective way to enhance the Skills Development spend of a company as there are incentives linked directly to learnerships. We have been part of the incubation of learnerships since the start and have very good relationships with all the SETA’s. We do learnership the RIGHT way! MDCS Skills Academy offer various learnerships addressing and Scarce and Critical Skills of the relevant SETA’s.

Bursary is a study programme that is financially aided by a company towards creating a talent pool for the organisation or for BBBEE points. Funds are made available by the company for either employed or unemployed learners who qualifies for a bursary. The company therefore pays the tuition fee to the private training provider in order to cover the cost of the study programme for the learner.
